About this Recovery College:

Recovery and Wellbeing Academy:

Welcome to the Recovery and Wellbeing Academy

We all have a mental health and wellbeing.

The Academy offers a wide range of FREE courses and workshops to anyone over the age of 18, living in Coventry and Warwickshire. The Academy provides the opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills to support your own mental health and wellbeing. The Academy believes that we are stronger together and is proud to work in partnership with other local organisations and also experts by experience and experts by education in each subject area. We are now offering a blended learning approach for sessions, delivering some courses online via Zoom and some face-to-face in classrooms across the community of Coventry and Warwickshire. If you would like to find out more, we can arrange for a tutor to call you to discuss how to access and use the enrolment website or offer a Zoom tutorial if needed. To request a call please click on the "contact us" tab at the top of this page.

Online Courses

You will need an internet connection and one of the following devices:
• Computer or laptop with camera, microphone and speaker(s); or
• Web enabled smart phone - either iPhone or Android phone is fine.

If your phone is not connected to Wi-Fi and you use 3G/4G to connect, this will come out of your data allowance. We recommend that Wi-Fi is used but if this isn’t feasible and you don’t have the required data allowance on your phone, this will cost you in accordance with your mobile service provider’s terms and conditions.

Privacy and confidentiality are paramount to us all and we ask all students to not take pictures or record the group session.  We also ask students to be mindful of the need to keep yourself safe and only share what you are comfortable with. Comments within the group remain confidential and are not to be shared with others outside the group – but remember we cannot enforce this, therefore you are responsible for what is shared.  And lastly, please ensure that the space you use for the Zoom group is private. Everybody contributing to the group should be in full view (i.e. nobody listening in on the side!). This way we all feel safe and comfortable when we are in the session together.

Please note: we will send the ZOOM meeting link to you in the early morning on the day of the course session starting.
