Please Note:
At the Dual Diagnosis Hub, we deeply value the work of Dual Diagnosis Anonymous (both in the USA, and the UK, and Dual Recovery Anonymous (currently USA only).
These fellowships designed for people with a dual diagnosis are **incredibly helpful** for people with co-occurring mental health & addiction issues/people who are living experiencing mental health challenges in their addiction recovery, especially for those who want a space where they can talk about both at the same time.
However, we also recognise that not everyone wants to discuss their mental health challenges in a group setting or simply aren’t able to access to these fellowships due to not having access to the internet or a suitable device to use Zoom — and some 12 Step sponsors may not feel confident supporting sponsees who are dually diagnosed.
That’s why we created a custom GPT: a digital tool designed to help 12 Step sponsors who don’t have much experience with mental health. It helps them come up with supportive, relevant questions to ask their sponsees — questions that not only help the person understand and apply the 12 Steps, but also connect the steps to their mental health journey.
