About:
🚀 The Good Tech Gateway's Mission 🚀

Some information about the Good Tech Gateway’s Mission what we’d like to do, and what some of the benefits for doing it for tech companies are:

Why We’re Launching It:

Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of social-good organisations, from across the globe—Community Interest Companies (CICs), social enterprises, grassroots not-for-profit organisations—still face commercial price-tags for the very software that powers modern social enterprise & not-for-profit organisation’s activities.

By broadening non-profit schemes to include all mission-led ventures, tech giants can unlock better services, richer data and stronger ESG outcomes with virtually no extra cost.

The Open Door Campaign exists to make that expansion happen.

  1. Expand eligibility for discount or pro-bono licences beyond registered charities.
  2. Equip mission-led teams with best-practice training and shared resources.
  3. Showcase success stories that prove inclusive access benefits companies and communities alike.
  4. Create a unified voice so social-good organisations can negotiate fairer & better terms together.

How to Get Involved:

  1. Add your support banner: Copy the snippet below or place the Good Tech Gateway Mission logo/banner on your website with a short note of support.
  2. Link back to the campaign landing page so others can join.
  3. Spread the word — post on LinkedIn, Twitter, Mastodon or your newsletter explaining why inclusive access matters.
  4. Share a Case Study – if your organisation already benefits from discounted tech; we’ll amplify it.

 🌍 Tech + Impact: 🌍

Why Every Platform Needs a
Social-Good Sponsorship Programme

1. The Missed Opportunity:

  • Social enterprises, CICs and grassroots organisations deliver the same life-changing outcomes as registered charities.
  • Yet most technology concessions stop at the charity gate; tools such as Microsoft 365 for Non-Profits or Google Workspace for Non-Profits seldom extend to mission-led businesses.
  • Exclusion means communities lose out on faster, smarter, always-on support.
  • Include them and every pound already allocated to CSR is immediately amplified.

"Open the door to every mission-led organisation today—and let purpose power your growth tomorrow."

What’s in it for you:

2. Blueprint for a Winning Sponsorship Scheme:

Eligibility:

  • Extend non-profit tiers to CICs, B-Corps and verified social enterprises.

On-Boarding Sprint:

  • One-hour live workshop plus an evergreen portal with templates, case studies and grant guides.
  • Scaled pricing
  • Free — up to 10 seats for micro-teams.
  • 90 % off — growth tier up to 100 seats.
  • Standard non-profit rate thereafter.

Impact Dashboard:

  • A simple widget—hours saved, people reached—that flows straight into your ESG report.

Story Bank:

  • Invite 90-second video wins and curate quarterly highlight reels for social channels and investor decks.

3. Quick PR wins for founders and CMOs:

  • Add a “Powered by [Your Brand]” badge that appears automatically on beneficiary-facing apps.
  • Co-host a LinkedIn Live three months in to unpack results and celebrate success.
  • Run a Dev-for-Good week: pair your engineers with fellowship volunteers, livestream the build and let viewers donate licences on the spot.

4. Additional Mutual-Benefit Actions:

  • Provide targeted training so non-technical teams get the most from your products, and capture their feedback to shape your roadmap.
  • Offer branded content packs—ready-made posts, infographics and case-study templates—so partners can spotlight your support with minimal effort.
  • Run paid usability sessions with social-good organisations; you gain user insight while they earn income for their mission.
  • Launch a dedicated microsite that showcases the indirect social good delivered through your platform, complete with searchable success stories and badges.
  • Curate galleries of work created with your tools, demonstrating both creative potential and community impact.
  • Supply channel-specific assets (e.g. Instagram reels, LinkedIn articles) that partners are required to share as part of the sponsorship, ensuring consistent amplification.

5. The Bottom Line:

  • Including social enterprises in your non-profit scheme is strategic generosity, not charity.
  • For negligible marginal cost you unlock continuous, authentic marketing, deeper product insight and a compelling ESG narrative.
