The Dual Diagnosis Hub is a social enterprise and website that was set up to develop & signpost online courses, resources, support groups, information, and recovery tools aimed at those who:

  1. Have a dual diagnosis (co-occurring mental health &/or addiction issues)
  2. Their carers, family members, & friends
  3. And Professionals who work with people with complex mental health & addiction issues.

We aim to develop and/or signpost as many of the best useful mental health, addiction, or dual diagnosis-specific tools & resources as possible to help improve the outcomes of those with co-occurring disorders.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and skilled Volunteer Graphic Designer to join our team. This role involves crafting compelling and impactful graphics for various mediums including print, web, and social media. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and aiding our outreach efforts.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing visual content for a range of platforms including our website, social media channels, and printed materials.
  • Collaborating with our team to conceptualise and implement design solutions that meet our communication needs.
  • Ensuring consistency of brand and creativity across digital customer touchpoints.
  • Providing creative input and suggestions for improving our visual communication.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design skills and projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A passion for design and a keen eye for detail.

Desirable:

  • Personal or professional experience in the fields of addiction and/or mental health. This is not essential but would be advantageous, as it may provide valuable insights and empathy in the design process.

Activities Associated
with this Opportunity:

Your first job will be to design a new logo for the Dual Diagnosis Hub CIC. After that we're looking for someone to create graphics for social media and possibly the website at times.
