Research Project:
The Relation Between Autism & Other Mental Health Difficulties
My name is Charlotte Leedale and I am a third-year trainee clinical psychologist at Newcastle University. I am currently recruiting participants to take part in an online study that examines the relationship between autism and mental health difficulties.
If you have any questions, please email us at: AMH.researchdclinpsy@newcastle.ac.uk
This study has been approved by the Newcastle University Research Ethics Committee.
Thank you 🙂
Charlotte
What is this study about?
This study is interested in exploring the relationship between autistic traits/autism and mental health difficulties (such as anxiety, OCD and psychosis). We hope that this research will help us understand more about what factors might explain the relationship between autism and different mental health difficulties.Â
What does taking part involve?
Taking part in the study involves completing an anonymous online survey. The survey asks a series of questions about autism and mental health difficulties. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.Â
Who can take part?
We are interested in hearing from everyone who is aged 18 years old or over. You do not have to have a diagnosis of autism and/or a mental health difficulty to take part in this study.
