Motivational Interviewing is an evidence-based treatment method that has been evaluated in more than a thousand controlled clinical-trials, a demonstrated effective alternative to trying to persuade clients to change. In this online course, you will learn how to utilize Motivational Interviewing to help your clients find their own motivations for positive change. Discover how to use questions, reflections, and summaries selectively to facilitate change and incorporate the underlying person-centered spirit of MI in your everyday work with clients.
Each week includes carefully crafted video lessons and demonstrations that show you not just what to do but how to do it, plus animations and interactive quizzes are designed to both entertain you and reinforce key learning points.
Your Motivational Interviewing training course also includes a library of resources and readings for you to delve more deeply into this broadly applicable clinical method of motivation and change.
To complete your learning experience, the course also includes a forum where you can share your experiences and ask questions week by week, supported by leading experts.
