About the KMPT Recovery College:

Recovery and Wellbeing College

Stay well, stay connected – while staying safe

The Recovery & Wellbeing college offers educational courses to support mental, physical and emotional wellbeing in shared learning environments in the community. We support people to identify and build on their own strengths and make sense of their experiences. We provide a safe space where students take back control of their lives, feel hopeful and become experts in their own wellbeing and recovery.

Whether you are experiencing health challenges yourself, are a family member, friend or carer, or work in associated services, all are welcome. We know that coming together and learning more about health and wellbeing enables us all to make the most of our strengths, talents and resources and helps people to do things that matter to them.

We are open for enrolments.

Download our prospectus by clicking the link on the right-hand side of this page. Please share details with anyone you feel may be interested.

All information and the courses described represents the dedication and enthusiasm of our collaborators, for which we are extremely grateful.

Service update August 2021

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your interest in Kent & Medway Recovery & Wellbeing College. We provide a welcoming, compassionate, activity-focused and strengths-based learning – where people can connect, share experiences and explore new ideas.

Our Recovery College Team has had a very exciting six months, welcoming new members to expand and develop courses and workshops in our very popular Virtual Recovery College and brand new East Kent locations. All workshops and courses are free of charge and available to everyone across Kent and Medway over the age of 18.

We are thrilled to announce that we have new face-to-face courses starting up in September, for people who feel comfortable coming in to local venues. Please do look at safety measures in place for each locality and venue. These are detailed in each locality prospectus.

This expansion also means that we have different enrolment phone line numbers for different locations. Please use the new locality phone numbers detailed in the new prospectus in each area.

We are also trialling a brand new online enrolment system for Virtual Recovery College Courses. So now, there are different ways to enrol, depending on what you want to attend:

Please do let us know what you think of the new online enrolment system if you use it. As always your feedback is very important to us so that we can give you the best possible experience of joining Recovery College.

Whether you enrol online or by phone, you will always have welcoming and compassionate conversations to support you on your learning journey and focus on what matters most to you, right now.

Please use the link in the downloads section of this webpage to see full details of our Virtual and Face to Face courses and workshops available in the Autumn Term.
