NAPAC, standing for the National Association for People Abused in Childhood, is the exclusive provider of cost-free, nationwide services aimed at adult survivors of childhood abuse in all its forms. Our dedicated team, comprising both seasoned professionals and trained volunteers, offers confidential and expert support to every survivor.
In collaboration with the legal and healthcare sectors, NAPAC assists survivors in understanding their legal options and the pathways to healing and recovery. Our website serves as a comprehensive resource, featuring a plethora of free information for both survivors and those who support them.
Recognized as a dependable support network, NAPAC offers a secure environment for survivors to share their experiences of childhood abuse, find emotional support, and make empowered life choices, including the decision to seek help when needed.
Those who utilize our services come to us with a wide array of concerns, such as mental health issues like anxiety and depression, social isolation, interactions with law enforcement, experiences of domestic or sexual violence, boundary-setting, and dealing with complex PTSD. - Operating the only toll-free, nationwide phone and email helpline for adult survivors of any form of childhood abuse.
- Facilitating intensive psycho-educational support groups has now transitioned from in-person to online platforms.
- Providing exhaustive training modules for professionals interacting with adult survivors and those at risk of experiencing secondary trauma.
- Conducting research and advocacy initiatives, using our own collected data and partnering with other organizations to elevate the voices of survivors in policy discussions and best practices across the UK.
